Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Accountable for the maintenance of the venue.
Develop and manage a PPM strategy to maintain service levels and avoid unexpected expenditure.
Ensure all maintenance issues are dealt with in a corrective and timely manner.
Adhere to the terms and conditions stipulated by our suppliers and deliver constructive feedback to them as and when required.
Take accountability for utility management regarding water, gas and electricity.
To be fully conversant with and strictly adhere to all health and safety regulations, food safety regulations and Brand Standards.
To ensure you are always aware of products and promotions and that the weekly update is always read.
To attend all monthly meetings and training programmes where required.
To ensure that every opportunity to ‘sell up and sell on’ is utilised and that options for guests to ‘upgrade’ are always explained.
Engage guests in the value of the membership.
To fulfill your targets and objectives via the bi-annual appraisal process as agreed with your Line Manager.
To adhere to the SOP’s and ways of working as outlined in your department’s Brand Standards.
Where applicable, undertake supervisory duties if requested, authorised and supplemented to do so.
To work across all departments when requested.
To be fully competent at utilising all elements of the booking system, as required within your role.
Skills and Qualifications:

Commercial and industrial refrigeration systems qualification (. HVAC, refrigeration).
F-Gas (City & Guilds) or equivalent electrical certification.
Extensive experience with refrigeration, air conditioning and heating systems.
Experience in fault finding and repairing commercial refrigeration equipment.
Experience of pumps, motors, valves, hydraulics and air handling units essential.
Apprentice trained (ideally).
Organised and able to prioritise tasks.
Full driving licence.
Proven commercial experience and a track record of high performance in a single or multi- site business.
Experience of budgetary control.
A clear communicator and professional operator with extremely high standards of expectation.
Possesses a very committed and diligent working style.
Exhibits strong judgement, drive and influencing skills.
