International Pharmaceutical Manufacturer seeks an experienced Warehouse Training Supervisor.

Duties may include:

To implement and maintain the Warehouse training and development system as well as deliver controlled ongoing training within the Warehouse department.
To manage specific areas within the Warehouse in compliance with cGood Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), cGood Warehouse Distribution Practice (cGWDP), H&S standards, and KPIs.
To deliver general technical and practical training to the Warehouse team in an engaging and consistent manner.
Assess employees on their competencies and facilitate completion of training records accordingly.
Ensure that staff training and development is fulfilled and to monitor individual progress through maintenance of training and development records and regular reviews.
Ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and that the principles of GMP, GWDP and H&S policies are always complied with.
Encourage the team to work within a continuously improving environment by consistent communication of objectives and standards.
Responsible for carrying out continuous process stock checks in accordance with the relevant Standard Operating Procedure.
Through teamwork involvement, develop problem solving skills within the team.
Continual improvement of training material (following the process).
Deliver practical training sessions in the Warehouse to staff in an engaging and safe manner, providing consistent training across shifts against relevant procedures.
Have a full working knowledge of GXP regulations and H&S Policies.
To ensure that all Warehouse training and development meets our compliance and business needs.
The provision of training must be timely, efficient, effective, and enjoyable for the delegates.
Must learn technical information (IFS, EXCEL, WORD) about the department processes and equipment to help develop and deliver training material using a variety of formats . videos, presentations, written assessments, hands-on training etc.
You must use effective communication skills with all team members to be able to analyse issues and effectively problem solve, thereby communicating instructions and implementing any changes that may be required through a training programme.
The post holder may be required to present training to shift workers, occasionally outside of normal working hours.
To be able to present regular updates on the training performance levels of the Warehouse Team.
To be an effective communication point for the team for all process and business-related information, including MHRA and FDA inspections by regular team briefings etc.
In addition to the Training aspect of the role you will act as cover for shift supervisor in their absence.
Allocation of team member duties for shift schedules, overtime assignments and back up for absent team members.
Communicating Key Performance Indicators for the shift and ensuring that they are met

Skills and experience:

Good problem solving / process improvement skills
Experience of working in a cold room environment
Experience with training procedures.
To have a structured and methodical approach.
Able to create tailored training material
Good understanding of Microsoft Office suite
Previous experience of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
Previous experience of GDP (Good Distribution Practice)
Have current full UK driving license or European equivalent.
Pharmaceutical Experience
Counterbalance truck licence to RTITB or equivalent accredited standard
Reach lifting truck licence to RTITB or equivalent accredited standard
Current UK Motorised Pallet truck licence.
Education to Maths and English GSCE level or equivalent.
To have completed some formal training on how to train.
