PRU Behaviour Support Staff - September Start
£57 - £65 per day
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with an SEND school in Stokesley who are seeking a behaviour support assistant on a full time basis, to commence in the new academic year working with students who have been excluded from mainstream education.
The school caters for students from Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 4 and there are opportunities across Primary and Secondary. The role will involve supporting class teachers with behaviour management during lesson times. The main aspect of the role will be helping the students to engage with their learning, and encouraging personal and social development whilst managing challenging behaviour throughout the day. Students in this provision often have social, emotional and mental health difficulties and therefore display extremely challenging behaviour, so the ideal candidate will be confident in managing this.
Experience is valued from a variety of backgrounds, however you must have worked with challenging behaviour to be considered for this role. A Team Teach qualification is also desirable for this position although this is something that Teaching Personnel can offer.
Registering with Teaching Personnel will also provide you with access to unique CPD opportunities to increase your qualifications and knowledge of the field. You will be supported by a specialist team of SEN recruitment consultants with education backgrounds, who are well placed to enrol you onto your desired courses and place you into schools.
Teaching Personnel can offer behaviour support assistant's competitive pay rates of up to £65 per day. Teaching Personnel work with a large number of SEN schools across the UK, if you are interested in registering to work through Teaching Personnel, to gain full time or part time work or to gain SEN experience please call us today for a confidential chat to hear more.
