Home Instead Senior Care is the world’s leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. Our office covers the whole of the Wirral peninsula, providing high quality care to the elderly in our community in the comfort of their own homes. With minimum visits of one hour, award winning training and an excellent reputation we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide. We match our CAREGivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support.
Twiddling your thumbs in the evening with nothing to do? Do you have some spare time at the weekend? How about making a difference to others and putting that spare time to good use? You can put a smile on the face of those who need it most! We are looking for people who are kind, compassionate, and wish to enhance the lives of others. Our CAREGivers provide a variety of non-medical services to help clients remain independent in their own home through helping them and their families meet the challenges of aging with dignity, pride, care and empathy.
The CAREGiver position involves all aspects of care inclusive of companionship, home help, personal care, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, and end of life care. We ask that our CAREGivers cover all aspects of the role due to the changing needs of our elderly clients which maintains continuity of the CAREGivers they meet. Professional experience in the care sector is not essential as we provide excellent ongoing training which gives you all the knowledge and skills required to succeed. However, if you have any experience – personal included – then you will have the opportunity to put your skills to good use!
At present, applicants must have a full drivers licence and access to their own vehicle as clients are predominately cared for in their own homes, or would like you to accompany them on appointments or outings and can live in remote areas. The position is also dependent on an enhanced DBS check.
There are no qualification requirements that are essential for the role; however, it may be useful if you have any NVQ qualifications in Health & Social Care or any personal development certificates in the likes on safeguarding, end of life, Alzheimer’s and Dementia, health and safety, and so forth.
As a CAREGiver, you will receive industry leading training, great rates of pay and excellent support.
