Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting an Experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join a well-established & successful organisation based in Sheffield, initially on a 4 month temporary basis, to support the team during a busy period; with the potential to become permanent.

The Accounts Receivable Manager will support the Chief Income Officer in the management of the Accounts Receivable Function, leading operational aspects of Accounts Receivable management & debt recovery and working closely with the Income Officer on areas of common interest and responsibility.

The main duties of the role are:

* To provide high quality financial services, information, analysis and advice to all levels of the organisation
* To ensure that the organisation produces high quality and robust annual and 3-5 year financial plans and that targets within those plans are achieved
* To facilitate the development of the services through input to planning, negotiating service level agreements, production of business cases, etc.
* To ensure efficient and effective use of resources
* To provide a centralised credit control, billing, query management and debt collection service
* To ensure the effective production of accurate and timely sales invoices, with appropriate credit terms, relating to all the services provided
* To ensure the prompt collection of all outstanding monies on the Sales Ledger, minimise the exposure to bad debts, and lead debt recovery processes
* To provide financial management information on outstanding debt
* To provide credit advice on new, or existing, areas of income

Elevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:

* AAT qualified, Part CCAB qualified, or equivalent OR Credit Management Qualification AICM/MICM Grad
* Sufficient recent and relevant practical experience in an Accounts Receivable function
* Experience in managing a small team
* Strong PC Skills (particularly Microsoft Excel)
* Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines
* Comfortable in dealing with all levels of management
