We have a fantastic opportunity for a HR Data Analyst on a 6month FTC, remote working with offices based in Edinburgh/Glasgow, paying up to £50,000 pro rata.

The HR Data Analyst will lead the development of HR data dashboards and report creation, demonstrating an ability to develop a suite of data collection processes, to support effective delivery of the HROD critical outcomes.

Role of the HR Data Analyst

  • Specifically, lead a team to scope and deliver a range of data, dashboards, and MI reports to help inform and shape business decisions.
  • Implement a meaningful cadence of people data reporting for a range of stakeholders
  • Work with the Strategic Workforce Planning Group and the Corporate Plan Project to provide updates, insight, challenge, and expertise.
  • Support the team to provide accurate and timely data for a range of internal and external requirements
  • Support the design of the strategy to enable team leaders to use the MI available to them via the manager self-service functionality on the HR system.
  • Assist in the identification, evaluation and tracking of business benefits including via the people dashboard and with a significant focus on project specific outcome evaluation.

HR Data Analyst Skills and Experience

  • Experience of HR business systems in transition, statistics approaches, models, and data analytics applications
  • Ability to coach, mentor and develop colleagues across MI and data leveraging
  • Experience of managing the relationship with HR systems suppliers, working towards continuous improvement
  • Confident in facilitating detailed workshops, synthesising complex information into clear and compelling visual stories
  • Experience mapping stakeholders, impact, and value streams
  • Data science background with the ability to build new tools and approaches for enhanced data collection
  • Experience with prioritisation techniques such as cost of delay or similar
  • Experience in using SQL, non-SQL, or Python to query and transform data
  • Formal management intelligence qualifications with BCS or similar body
