Librarian - Independent School

Location: North London
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full Tim, 8am-4pm 4 days per week and 8am-5pm 1 day, 36hrs per week, Permanent, Term-Time + 5 days. Occasional work on weekends for open days & entrance exams.

Our client, one of the country's leading independent schools, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Librarian to join them on a permanent basis.

The school is ranked in the top 10 schools nationally and has an exceptional reputation for providing a first-rate education for its pupils, of which there are over 1000 on roll across the whole school. This leading London day school has excellent facilities rarely matched in the UK and has a strong academic record which staff and pupils are encouraged to exceed. The school has been inspected to be 'Excellent in all areas' and is regularly cited as being one of London's premium education settings.

At present, there is a vacancy for a qualified Librarian to join the school on a permanent contract as soon as reasonably possible. The successful applicant will be a graduate from a reputable institution and will hold (or be willing to work towards) a CILIP accredited qualification.

Salary will be determined on the school's own generous scale that is pro-rata accordingly for the term time + 5 days in the school holidays. The scale is incremental and is dependent on experience. As well as a competitive salary, the school has a number of other generous staff benefits.

Interviews will be being held initially with Connaught Education and then with the school.

If you do have the relevant requirements and would like to be considered for this opportunity or fund out more, please send through your CV or call Phil at Connaught Education.
