CRN Specialty Hub Communications/Administration Assistant




Overview The CRN Specialty Hub Communications/Administration Assistant will support the CRN KCL Specialty Cluster with a time sensitive communications project. They will provide high level and comprehensive administrative support to the project being responsible to the Specialty General Manager and work alongside partners in the National Coordinating Centre. The post holder will be responsible for rebranding a number of policy documents for the CRN: Mental health website. This will involve changing logos, editing text, updating contact details and converting documents into different formats (e.g. word, pdf). The project is being overseen by the Specialty Cluster Manager however the postholder will also work closely with the CRN Communications Manager and Assistant Theme Lead.Job Description ? Proof-reading, editing and input into the development of high quality external and internal reports, publicity material and presentations;? Sourcing and cross checking correct references ? If necessary contacting relevant stakeholders for additional information ? Keeping a log of updated documents and version control? Ensuring final documents are signed off by relevant management? Ensuring relevant documents are uploaded to internal websites/shared drives, information is updated and access rights are provided to appropriate individuals;? Responsibility for overseeing the management of electronic data systems and the quality of data held;? Communicating verbally and in writing with staff and stakeholders at all levels in a confident and professional manner.? Undertake any ad hoc initiatives as required by the Theme Lead Management Team. QualificationsQualifications ? Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent SkillsExperience required: ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of professionals and develop good working relationships with staff at all levels.? Excellent IT skills with experience of using Microsoft office suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.? Familiarity with database systems.? Familiarity with medical, scientific and/or research terminology.? Awareness of the UK clinical research environment.? Administration experience gained in a busy office/team environment.? Evidence of working effectively in a team.? Experience of implementing and following standard procedures.? Previous Network experience/knowledge.? Experience of working in a clinical/scientific environment.
