Are you a dynamic, passionate and creative Hungarian Tutor? Then join us to develop and teach our Hungarian language course, helping to bring together people across the capital and beyond and to enrich lives through learning. We are looking for a tutor to teach a 'Hungarian Beginners: An Introduction’ course starting in January 2022.
City Lit are London's largest provider of learning for adults, inspiring over 30,000 students a year and offering more than 5,000 courses, online and face-to-face. Partnering with community organisations across London, we deliver bespoke projects that support individuals and communities.
You will be a key contributor to our thriving Languages Department, where our expert tutors teach over 30 Modern and Ancient world languages from beginners to advanced.
Please submit your CV and a covering letter, detailing your skills and experience. You will particularly attract our interest if this covers:
- Demonstrable experience of teaching Hungarian to adults and or groups of adults at varying levels from beginners to advanced.
- Have an advanced level of verbal and written Hungarian and the ability to converse at native speaker level.
- Experience of inspiring students to achieve and supporting them in overcoming barriers to learning
- Excellent communication skills
- A relevant teaching qualification
- Experience of teaching online highly desirable
