Technical Coordinator - Residential
£DOE + Package
My client is a well renowned residential developer going through a period of planned and organic growth which has created an exciting opportunity to join their Technical department. As Technical Coordinator you will report to the Senior Technical Manager and typically work across 2-3 projects at a time. They would consider candidates with all levels of experience provided it has been gained on Residential projects.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Coordination of technical information for planning submissions
Developing effective relationships with consultants, suppliers, and manufacturers
Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of construction drawings
Liaising with internal departments to ensure delivery of the project in line with the programme
Managing the discharging of conditions through to NHBC/Building Control sign-off
Attending design team meetings and site visits as necessary to support with developing solutions to any problems as they arise
The Successful Applicant
As a strong applicant for this Technical Coordinator position, you will:
Demonstrate a technical/design background from a developer, contractor, or architectural consultancy.
Possess excellent knowledge of building regulations relevant to residential development.
Have a track record working across all RIBA stages and an ability to problem solve at all stages.
Take a proactive approach to managing the flow of information to deliver projects on time.
Show the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
