Quantity Surveyor (Construction) North West England and North Wales Due to continued expansion, Pure Residential & Commercial has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Quantity Surveyor to progress and grow with the company, working from sites across North Wales and the North West of England. Pure Residential and Commercial is a privately-owned company with offices located in Daresbury Park, Warrington and St Asaph, North Wales. Established for over 25 years, Pure is one of the leading providers of new homes in North Wales and the North West of England, which combines contemporary design high specification residential properties and business accommodation, with values ranging from £300k to £20m. What will the role of Quantity Surveyor (Construction) entail? Reporting to the Commercial Manager, as a Quantity Surveyor you will be a key member of the Project Team, utilising your sound commercial knowledge and experience to drive the business forward from a commercial perspective. You will have responsibility for the full range of commercial activities, from inception through to completion, preparing cash flow forecasts and cost projections, procuring Sub Contractors, overseeing attendance site meetings and ensuring each project is delivered on time and within budget and maximising margins throughout each stage of the project. What will I need to be considered for this Quantity Surveyor (Construction) vacancy? Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction / housebuilding industry Strong communication and organisation skills Diligent, with a high level of numeracy and IT literacy Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines Full UK driving licence What will I receive in return? As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll receive a salary of circa £50,000, level dependent on experience, plus a wide range of benefits including car allowance or company car, life insurance, and personal health insurance. Contract: Permanent, with full time hours working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Location: Site visits across North West England and North Wales will be required. You will also be working from the company offices in both Daresbury Park near Warrington and St Asaph in North Wales (conveniently located next to the A55).
