Laboratory/ Quality Assurance Technician Harrogate, Temp to perm £19,200 (incl. shift allowance)

We require a Laboratory/ Quality Assurance Technician to work for an FMCG manufacturer in the Harrogate area. A great opportunity for someone with a passion for Science who is looking to get into a laboratory role. We will consider any science based qualification from A Level to graduate or someone with previous laboratory or quality experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for working within the micro lab facility undertaking quality assurance and administrative tasks. Reporting to the Quality and Technical managers, the role will include: Conducting microbiological testing in line with testing procedures Carrying out regular Quality Assurance lineaudits of the product, including all aspects of quality and packaging Completing site hygiene surveys of plant and personnel in accordance with the schedule Conducting regular quality checks of finished products Maintaining accurate written and electronic records of all activities and to ensure that high personal hygiene standards are maintained and documented in the QMS Collating technical data Reading, interpreting, effectively documenting and communicating the results of all samples for analysis on both electronic, and written quality assurance records Conducting complaint investigations and document findings within Safefood 360. Completing equipment calibrations, and maintain relevant records, according to the calibration schedule Liaising effectively and professionally with other departments and people within the business.

As the Laboratory/ Quality Assurance Technician you will: Have excellent attention to detail and great communication skills (verbal and written) Ideally hold a relevant science qualification or have transferable skills Able to work on own initiative with minimal guidance Be very organised and able to prioritise tasks Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Be available to start the role on a temp to perm basis

Working hours are Monday to Friday on a 3 rotational shift pattern of 6am2pm, 2pm10pm, 10pm6am Call Yasemin at Travail on ######### for an immediate interview.
