Planning and Customer Service Advisor

We have been instructed to find a Planning and Customer Service Advisor for the customer services team for one of our clients based in Wigan. The Customer Service Advisor will report to the Customer Services Manager and form part of the sales and commercial team.

As the Planning and Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for planning and managing corrugated case supply to a specific key customer factory while ensuring high levels of uninterrupted service, communication, attention to detail, stock management. While looking to achieve the highest degree of customer retention and high levels of customer satisfaction.

The main responsibilities of the role….

Forecasting Coverage and ability to predict Risks.
Ensure customer requests are met, including claims, samples, sketches, specifications, offers, general information.
Work with an account manager to delivered value-added projects and trials.
Stock Management – Obsoletes, Aged Stock, Warehouse Process Monitoring Internally and Externally – PO Requests
Co-operate with Customer Services Manager and sales team in preparing and monitoring customer account plans.
Attend meetings both internal and external – weekly/monthly reviews, monitor day to day, and update on any new projects and ways of working.
Complete and ensure the reliability of the data in the commercial customer databases. – tooling management
Co-operate with Customer Services Manager and sales team in preparing and monitoring customer account plans.
Monitoring of collections/returns Manage returns of merchandise and the corresponding credit notes.
Work and achieve agreed KPI’s.
Create simple manufacturing/cost datasheets.
Manage Consumption process, invoicing queries, for his/her specific factory. We are looking for….

Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration or Commerce/Marketing,
At least one years’ experience working in a customer service role in the manufacturing sector.
Product knowledge of packaging products would be advantageous.
Ability to Problem-solving and bring solutions.
