Are you an experienced procurement professional looking for a role that offers flexible working?
Then this is the ideal role for you. We are seeking a part time (3 days per week) procurement professional to work within the North East region, the role offers flexibility to manage your own diary is home based with significant travel throughout the North East, Yorkshire & Humberside.
CPC is a well-established not-for-profit organisation with an excellent reputation in the Education sector. We are proud to provide our Colleges, Academies, Universities and Schools members with specialist advice on best procurement practices and obtaining best value for money. The CPC team is comprised of experienced and dedicated procurement professionals who operate at the core of our business creating EU tendered frameworks covering a variety of commodities.
Reporting to the Regional Manager and working within a dynamic friendly team you will offer specialist advice and guidance to our members on the acquisitions of any goods or services within the CPC portfolio of frameworks. You will be required to arrange regular visits to our members within the North West region where you will be required to present the benefits of CPC frameworks, providing guidance on how to use them and identifying opportunities for framework use.
This role will suit a candidate who has experience and knowledge of working within a procurement environment and experience of contracting procedures. You will have strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with people at all levels, as well as a strong commitment to mentoring and promoting good procurement practice throughout the education sector.
