Mears Group is currently searching for an experienced Contracts Manager to ensure the commercial and operational performance of the contracts under your management. You will be producing project plans of PPMs to monitor and report on works to ensure KPIs are being met.
To manage resources such that the key contract deliverables are met, including operational and commercial metrics. To manage the supporting resources on the ground. To ensure contract compliance To produce and provide reports to senior management To produce and provide client reports in accordance with contract agreements. To seek opportunities for contract development through the securing of additional/project works

Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly in accordance with training received Report any issues or training needs to your Line Manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience
ACS commercial gas qualified Minimum 4 year experience in the commercial gas field. Experienced in managing contracts delivering technical services to public sector clients. Experienced in managing contract to KPIs and reporting to the client and making recommendations. Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down with clients, subcontractors and clients as relevant. Strong communicator The ability to communicate with people at all levels from varying backgrounds. Demonstrable experience of working well under pressure and of working flexibly to manage competing priorities Technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Microsoft Project. Proven ability to collaborate across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective.

Clear, considered and timely decision making skills, with the ability to analyse a situation quickly, proactively resolving issues, consider the risks and opportunities and create solutions for overall business benefit Demonstrable experience of planning, prioritising and consistently delivering work to a high standard and by the required deadline.
