Senior Operations Manager
Job type: Fixed-term to permanent
We are currently recruiting a Senior Operations Manager to join our growing UK contracts team at Education Development Trust. We are keen to hear from individuals interested in both fixed-term and permanent opportunities as this key role will support a multiyear contract with the strong likelihood of extension, and we are always recruiting great people for future contracts and contract extensions.
Our work in the UK has gone from strength to strength over the past few years. We are one of the largest providers of professional development programmes in the UK and we have been at the forefront of system change in England, having led a wide range of national initiatives.
As the Senior Operations Manager, you will report into the Programme Director and be a key part of the programme leadership team. You will be responsible for leading the operational management of the programme, including the school/customer engagement, project management and technology functions. You will ensure advise and make recommendations to the Programme Director on the cost effective and professional deployment of personnel across the programme and other resources. You will execute the operational strategy for the programme, ensuring ambitious KPIs are measured, met and where possible exceeded. You will support on relationships management with internal and external stakeholders as required. You will lead operations for the full cycle of the programme from concept to product, and through various learning cycles which will drive continuous improvement of the programme. Experience of operations management at a national scale and an understanding of schools as customers would be a significant advantage.
