Position What are we looking for Working as part of the Global Operations team directly with the Chief Operating Officer, successful candidates will be leading the delivery of transformation projects of varying size and degrees of complexity across the different areas of the business. Candidate would be responsible to deliver complex projects to cost, schedule and performance through strong internal and external stakeholder management. Additional responsibility for leading global project teams for management of global projects including creation and delivery of robust and deliverable project management processes, and management of Project Managers within process. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will often exercise some decision-making autonomy, and will recommend strategic improvements to the COO such as cross-alignment of projects, ways to address wider market opportunities, or improvements to corporate business processes, then work with them as advised to implement the improvement. How you'll play your part Responsible for the leadership, management, performance, and completion of single or multiple complex project management deliveries. Create Project Management Plans containing events, accomplishments, and criteria Serve as the prime point of contact for projects with internal and external stakeholders, senior management, and clients. Work creatively in problem-solving and creating operational efficiencies across the organization To plan and direct the integration of projects across the various functional areas within the company. Management of project risk and opportunities through identification, quantification, and development of actions to mitigate or exploit. Creating project Work Breakdown Structures, Organisation Breakdown Structures and Responsibly Assignment Matrices Create project schedules, and budgets in support of the project execution and objectives Conduct regular program evaluation and review meetings to identify current and future problems and initiate actions for their resolution Prepare and present progress reports to management Maintain regular liaison with all proposal/program contributors to ensure the necessary level of communication is in place to assure realization of their commitments Monitor and evaluate subcontractors' performance to ensure cost, technical, and schedule requirements are met Responsible for change control, including negotiation of project changes and variations. Ensure that all contract deliverables and services are professionally delivered In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by their manager from time-to-time, as may be reasonably required of them. Requirements The experience you'll bring Full lifecycle Project Management with significant experience as a project manager delivering complex projects Proven ability to manage multiple projects at one time, including associated project teams Must be able to work in a matrix organization to ensure successful delivery of projects Expert in building and motivating project teams Expert in verbal and written communications and stakeholder management (internal and external) Expert in Project Management tools including scheduling, spreadsheets and presentations Experience in contract negotiations with customers and suppliers.
