Account Manager - Passive Fire Protection (Fire Doors / Fire Stopping)
Office / Work From Home with regional travel around the South East / South West

My client is a leading passive fire protection contractor, delivering fire door installation and fire compartmentation projects ranging from £1k to £2m. These include high and low rise domestic and commercial properties within the private and public sector. Due to continued expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to ensure promises are kept, contracts are mobilised correctly and most importantly, clients are satisfied.

You will ideally come from an operations / technical background experience of account managing large scale, £multi-million Passive Fire or Term Maintenance Contracts with a 3 - 5 year tenure.

This is a client facing role where you will attend client meetings to discuss future opportunities, current bids and on site work level progress. As such you will be highly mobile attending sites across the South of England for F2F client interaction to ensure maximum customer satisfaction

Account Manager Key Duties:

Assessing and understanding the clients' requirements at a macro level
Liaising directly operational management teams to ensure the clients expectations are met and where possible exceeded
Producing opportunity pipeline details to allow the business to plan for exceptional delivery throughout the programme
Supporting the operations teams in unlocking challenges faced on site by liaising with the appropriate levels of the client
Supporting the commercial teams where assistance is required to ensure we get paid in a timely manner
Setting the standards that others should strive to achieve
Helping our clients with their statutory obligations
Building your technical knowledge to be a competent representative for the business and the 'go to' person for our clients in your portfolio
You will be supported by a small team of Account Coordinators who will report directly to you
Ensuring your administration team are up to date with all internal and external activities
Attending fire safety events representing the businessAccount Manager Experience:

Previous building maintenance experience of a semi-technical nature
Ability to review tender documents
Experience of liaising with/managing and delivering across teams and departments
Experience of building strong client relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Work both independently and part of a team
Attention to detail
Professional demeanour and attitude
An insistence on providing a great customer experience
Full UK Driving Licence
ASFP or equivalent Passive Fire Qualification (preferred)
CSCS card Skilled Worker (preferred)Account Manager Experience Salary & Benefits:
