An exciting opportunity to join a leading contractor in Birmingham for the position of Bid Coordinator

The purpose of the role is to support the business by planning and managing the bid process and delivering tender responses in line with the companys brand, position and processes on projects up to £100m in value.

You will translate win strategies and business objectives into smart, compelling, consistent, customerfocused, errorfree documents and presentations, project managing activity through department bid plans and escalating risk to bid leader / board where required.

Key Duties:

  • Developing a bid strategy
  • Analysing tender documentation
  • Undertaking detailed client / project / scope / stakeholder / competitor research
  • Execution of Bid strategy
  • Management of the process
  • Analyse tender documents to define client requirements and deliverable outcomes
  • Project planning
  • Managing inputs and outsourcing to support bid production, including 4D visualisation
  • Write the bid
  • Submit the bid
  • Ensure all required reviews and adjudication
  • Posttender presentations
  • Record and share lessons learnt / best practice

Experience:

  • 2 years within a similar role within construction
  • Experience on high value complex projects would be desirable
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Very high standard of written English
  • Skilled in supervising employees, to include delegating responsibility, training and evaluating performance
  • Empathy guardian of client drivers
  • Positive challenge driving getting the best out of the team
  • Ability to Influence
