Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Numeracy and Literacy Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in local seconday school in Wallsend. This is a full time secondary teaching role starting in September 2019 potentially untill the end of the academic year.
For September 2019, The school are seeking to appoint a forward-looking individual with drive and character who is able to teach numeracy and literacy to "secondary ready" level.
This is initially a one year contract and consideration will be given to it being on a full or part time basis. The role focus means that it would suit a primary trained professional. Experience of teaching key stage 3 would be desirable. In this role you will be teaching students who have not achieved secondary ready level and will have a particular focus on developing knowledge, skills, confidence and engagement.
The teacher will be highly motivated and have a passion to ensure that learners achieve the very best that they can at all times. The core purpose of the role will be to uphold the fundamental standards of pride, respect and achievement with all learners but also ensure that all students receive the highest standard of bespoke support.

To be considered for the position of Maths Teacher, you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have experience teaching Literacy and Numeracy
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of secondary Teachers.
Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
