Specialty Doctor Haematology
The Post BDI Resourcing are seeking an international doctor for a Specialty Doctor Haematology post at a Midlands NHS Trust.The hospital are offering full CESR support and a comprehensive relocation package.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe post holder will play a full part in the work of the Department and will be expected to maintain and help develop Haematology services.The post holder will share equitable responsibilities with their professional colleagues and will contribute to the governance arrangements of the department. The post holder will be expected to provide haematology cover for inpatients, day case patients and inpatient referrals, but there is no expectation of regular on-call out of hours duties.The post holder will be required to cover for colleagues during periods of absence. He/she will have continuing responsibility for patients in his/her care and the proper functioning of the Department.He/she will be expected to attend the Multidisciplinary Team meetings as appropriate.The post holder will be encouraged to develop a special interest in line with the Departmental policy to expand its range of specialist services.The post holder will be expected to work with the local managers, general practitioners and other medical and professional clinical colleagues in the efficient running of the service.The appointee will be expected to take an active part in Undergraduate and Postgraduate teaching, including the training of junior doctors. Along with this, he/she will be expected to carry out audit projects. He/she may also undertake research.He/she will be responsible for the training and supervision of junior medical staff who work with him/her and will devote time for this activity on a regular basis.Post Requirements This post requires full MRCP and FRCPath is desirable.You will also need a pass in IELTS or OET to evidence your English language skills.
