PHP Web Developer (Mandarin speaking)
£230 to £250 per day

They specialise in sourcing potential clients (students) and provide them with education planning as well as help them with University applications. We are seeking a PHP Web Developer that will support our client with their ongoing and future projects. The candidate should have at least 4 years’ experience with object-oriented PHP/C# and 3 years in server management.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Carry out software development duties and introduce best practice coding pattern. Mentor junior developers and participate in analysis/design of software architecture. Analyse deficiencies in the systems and introduce improvements to algorithms. Focus on product experiences and user data to drive business development through technology. Collaborate with other department engineers in order to deliver exciting products. Adapt to working on desktop and mobile platforms. Assist with other duties when necessary.
At least 4 years of experience with object-oriented PHP or C#. Familiar with object-oriented design patterns and principles. Fluent in English and Mandarin. At least 3 years of experience in server (LAMP stack) management. Ability to complete highly complex tasks and improve all process into a maintainable software code. Efficient communication skills and cultural diversity experience. Expert in MySQL query building and server management. Detailed understanding of web software architecture (MVC). Experience developing using MongoDB. (Beneficial, not essential) Familiar with a variety of cache design in WEB development, website optimization project.
