Part Time Administrator (20 hours)

This expanding local company is looking for an experienced Part Time Office Administrator to join their team to work 20 hours a week. They offer a salary of GBP8,840 and benefits that include a bonus scheme, holidays that increase to 25 days plus bank holidays, free parking and a pension.

    This wellestablished family business deal with a variety of customers across the North West. They work with a wide range of organisations from smaller businesses to major contacts with local authorities and the NHS. They have a stable team and a reputation of retaining their staff on a long term basis.

  • About the role:
    Working as part of a small team in a busy office, you will be carrying out a varied administration role. Duties will include:

  • Providing admin support to the directors and sales team including quotes and reports

  • Dealing with all incoming calls to the office

  • Creating invoices and orders

  • Monitoring outstanding invoices and checking for outstanding payments for completed jobs

  • Raising and issuing credits.

  • Sending out correspondence for customers

  • Handling engineers files and producing quotes

  • Updating the database and customer files on an ongoing basis

  • General admin including filing, post duties and passing invoices and remittances

  • Building rapport with customers and offering a first class customer experience

  • Assisting with planning coordinating engineers jobs

Skills and Experience Required:
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar office administration or engineer coordinating role. You will be comfortable using Word and Excel and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will also be highly organised with an excellent eye for detail. Due to the customers they work with and the sector they are in, a successful candidate will need to be able to provide unbroken career history information for the last 5 years and undergo a police security check and an adverse financial check. You will be able to commit to 20 hours across Monday to Friday on an ongoing basis.
