People Systems Support Analyst (Fixed Term) based at Epworth House, Derby

Available Hours:

Full Time - 37 hours per week.

Fixed Term contract for up to 12 months.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and dynamic People Services team. Our charity has just been through a significant change introducing an employee and manager self-service system which is transforming the way we work. This is a new role designed to support and maintain our new system whilst enabling continuous improvement. The role plays an integral part in ensuring that our people system is effectively supporting departmental objectives, lean processes and facilitating the best service delivery to our operational colleagues.

The role will include:

  • Providing first line help and support to operational system users ensuring consistency of process and approach across the organisation.

  • Maintaining and updating the reporting structure. Take responsibility for creating new units, posts and positions to ensure this reflects the latest position within MHA. Ensuring all inheritance items are correctly applied.

  • Investigating the business implications of system upgrades and patches and liaise with technical colleagues to schedule their application to test and live environments.

  • Being responsible for supporting all functional aspects of MHA's HR system (iTrent), including identifying and supporting the roll out of improvements, on-going management and maintenance, including data integrity, security, training and overseeing the delivery of regular management reporting requirements.

  • Following the escalation of user queries, to support resolution through knowledge or management with system application support or vendor.

  • Co-ordinating system improvements with the HR team and planning change requests.

  • Proactively build excellent working relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements from the system.
