We are looking for a selfmotivated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant for our client in the Ashford area. The role will be to support within the primary phase of the school. This role could be permanent for the right candidate.
This school is a leading provider of therapeutic care and education, based in Ashford. It caters for children with Autism and behavioural needs. This SEN Primary Teaching Assistant role will be based on purposebuilt facilities, supporting lessons of small classes of approximately 5 pupils. Support is provided by an experienced support team including a dedicated therapy team. Other benefits including continuous CPD and a free lunch! Ofsted stated Staff have confidence in school leaders. As the successful SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be resilient yet nurturing. We are looking for candidate experienced in working with children with special educational needs, in particular Autism and its related needs. Ideally, we are looking for experience of working in a school environment along with knowledge and understanding of the issues faced by young people with Autism/Behavioural needs and other SEN needs. However, experience in other childbased settings will also be considered with a background of working with children with SEND.
