Job description:

Prestige Nursing + Care are seeking full time, dedicated and passionate Care Assistants to join our local branch in Leeds. You will work day shifts,delivering person centred, specialised care to your clients in their own homes, working a long visit on a one to one basis This will enable you to maintain a clinical overview of your client, including: Complex and palliative needs, personal needs, physical needs, medication administration, companionship, dietary and fluid needs and monitoring.

We care and support clients with various needs, such as: Complex nursing needs, support with dementia, neurological conditions, support with brain and spinal injuries. We are looking for Carers who can build positive relationships with a range of clients and their families as we understand the importance that we play in their lives.

What we are looking for from you:

  • ONE year of UK care experience within the last TWO years
  • Able to provide x2 satisfactory, professional references
  • A knowledge of complex care would be an advantage - If not, full online training will be provided.
  • A caring, compassionate nature and enthusiastic about providing the highest level of care
  • Access to own transport is desirable.

Rate of pay:

£9:00 - £12:70

Care Assistant Responsibilities include:

  • Provide personal care and support to vulnerable adults
  • Administer medications as and when required
  • Document and maintain accurate records of care provided
  • Be sensitive to the needs of people from a variety of backgrounds
  • Be punctual, courteous and reliable.
