Theatre Nurses or ODPs (Band 5)
£26.30/hour to £40/hour
JP Medicals is currently looking experienced theatre nurse/ODP, who have active NMC/HPC registration, to work regular, flexible shifts in the NHS hospitals in Stoke-on-Trent areas.
We are looking Scrub, Anaesthetic, and Recovery nurse/ODP. Minimum one year post registration experience ideally in the NHS and have been employed as an RGN within the past 6 months.
This post will be subject to an enhanced disclosure check.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate peri-operative patient care needs
Work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the care needs of the perioperative patient
Assist in the management and organisation of an operating theatre
Participate in the supervision and support of staff
Participate in the education, training, and development of staff
Accountable for the quality patient care delivery.
Actively participate in the development and implementation of patient safety initiative.
Actively deliver and implement Infection Control Policies.
Adhere to Trust policy and procedure.
Act always in accordance with NMC Code of Conduct and guiding documents.
Maintain up to date skills and knowledge and maintain awareness of professional issues.
Promote people's equality, diversity, and rights.
In addition to the principles roles, the Registered nurse are also responsible for clinical, managerial/leadership, patient safety and quality, education and development, and clinical governance.
