Are you an experienced lead PMO Manager who does not afraid of a challenge?

We are looking for a PMO Manager to join a complex organisation to manage and lead a team of PMO Analysts in the delivery of the portfolio level services.

You will be a strong and focused leader, with the ability to form relationships across the business, supporting and overseeing an entire portfolio of current running projects.

What you will do

Management of permanent and contract PMO Analysts in the successful delivery of PMO

Ensure the team capture and manage demand through the delivery lifecycle processes, from idea through to closure, in collaboration with Business Owners and Business stakeholders, PMs, IT stakeholders; tracking and prioritising initiatives.

Drive adoption of the Delivery lifecycle, standards and processes ensuring projects and programmes are compliant.

Resource demand management: tracking and reporting demand and assignment for the portfolio, identifying options where shortfalls or conflicts arise.

Financial management: tracking, reporting, analytics, purchase order and invoice process, financial systems updates.

Coordinate project, programme and portfolio level reporting, including analytics to identify issues, trends, gaps and improvements required.

Coordinate, track and report risks, issues, changes and dependencies at a programme and portfolio level.

Maintenance of the delivery lifecycle, processes, standards and templates. Maintenance of tools used in PMO.

Assurance and quality control of the portfolio, including regular project, programme and portfolio reviews.

Ensuring post project reviews, capturing lessons learnt and driving continuous improvements across the delivery communities.

Who you will be

Must demonstrate strong leadership skills & have previous team management experience,

You will have established PMO functions from nothing and created the PMO

Significant experience of working in a less established and pressurised environment

Able to work at senior stakeholder level and influence

Happy to be hands on get involved

Able to demonstrate that they can form relationships across the business and gain buy in, influence people to get on board
