My client are looking for an ambitious, hungry and resilient Account manager/ Business Developer with an ability to bring on logos, and subsequently generate additional revenue from these accounts. Candidates are tasked with growing the new business revenue in line with corporate objectives, whilst ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and service to existing accounts.
Increase profit from existing and new customers, using agreed strategies with line manager. Maintain regular contact with customers and prospects. Maintain and develop the computerised database, keeping accurate records of requirements, usage, contacts, quotations and orders. Assist the customer in understanding the products and services that CCS Media provides. Optimise selling time on the phone. Liaise and cooperate with all departments within the organisation following set procedures & conventions. Cover the duties of any colleagues who are not in work due to holidays, sickness etc. Follow company procedures set out in the contract and company handbook.
At least 3 years sales experience within the IT industry Demonstrable relevant experience in the business to business sales environment Can demonstrate a structured and professional approach to areas of responsibility An understanding of sales techniques, sales cycles and forecast/pipeline management. Proven experience achieving sales / operational targets within a business sales environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven and demonstrable ability to meet and exceed demanding targets Proven ability to work under pressure and with an attention to detail and accuracy
