Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

Operations Manager required for a successful and growing manufacturer due to a recent internal promotion. The company offer a personable working environment with great opportunities for further development and progression within business growth.

The successful Operations Manager will have previous experience of having been either a Production, Manufacturing or Operations Manager within a similar environment. You will need a reasonable level of engineering competency/knowledge. Those with experience any LEAN manufacturing qualifications/implementation experience would be at an advantage.

The Operations Manager:

40/60 split between Managerial responsibility and hands on tasks (Although are plans to convert the role to more Managerial tasks) Overseeing entire daily operations, being targeted on KPI's for Quality, Finances (Cost Reduction), Shipping and Budgets. Liaising between various management and departments such as: Production Supervisor, QA Manager, Purchasing & Materials Control, Production Planning Staff, Stores Personnel, Logistics and Technicians. Supporting Production, Quality, CI, Despatch/Logistics and Stocks/Materials. Ensuring sufficient staffing is provided for the relevant departments. The Main production areas cover Casting, Assembly, Demoulding, Finishing and Machine shop. *This role will have training support, where you will be integrated into the business dependant on any skill gaps.

The Successful Operations Manager:

You will have previous experience of having been either a Production, Manufacturing or Operations Manager within a similar environment. You will need a reasonable level of engineering competency/knowledge. *Those with experience any LEAN manufacturing qualifications/implementation experience would be at an advantage.
