  • FRA Projects (Fire Doors / Fire Stopping) up to £65K + Benefits Midlands and South West My client is a leading contractor operating within the passive fire protection market, delivering fire door installation and fire compartmentation projects ranging from £1k to £2m.

These include high and low rise domestic and commercial properties within the private and public sector.

Due to continued expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager to oversee the Midlands and South West Regions.

We're looking for a qualified and competent commercial leader the ability to develop a highly talented and motivated commercial team whilst building excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders including business functions, customers, consultants and the wider supply chain.

Working alongside the operational team, you will provide commercial support and guidance to achieve targeted profit margins and strategic growth.

The Commercial Manager will have overall commercial responsibility for a cicra £5m region, working from offices in the Midlands and Wiltshire as well as flexible home working as required.

My client has ambitious plans to double their national turnover and boasts 90% of all new business is repeat business.

You will be responsible for commercial support of all contracts in the region, liaising with the delivery team, advising on commercial matters, agreeing payments and contractual terms, ensuring commercial processes are being followed and resolving commercial issues with clients.

You will ensure accurate forecasting, month end invoice applications and invoicing, including substantiation and record keeping, month end reporting, cost control and subcontractor cost sign off.

You will also support pricing on tenders and accounts with cash collection.

Key Skills: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management Previous experience of working for a specialist sub-contractor (preferred) Excellent verbal and written communicator Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge Pricing from take offs and rate builds Financial and commercial awareness Effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines Ability to negotiate and influence Self-motivated Flexible & adaptable ResilientSalary & Benefits You will be working for a modern, forward thinking business; that believes the strengths, skills and personalities of their people are the key to the groups success.
