Store Manager (Retail)
£30000 - £36000 per annum + 24 days hols + bens
Global retailer seeks Store Manager on an interim basis.

We need someone with a passion for sales and customer services and strong Store Management and People Management experience. Someone ideally with hands on experience of working together with customers to ensure they are provided with the best possible customer care and experience whilst in our store. Ideally you will come from a Retail, FMCG, or Consumer Electronics background. We would like you to have managed a team, where the emphasis has been about not only meeting KPIs but the customer experience, managing and mentoring the team as a whole.
If you have a technical mind (although you will be given full training on our range of products) or have worked with or have an interest in technology, this would have its advantages. Your role will be crucial liaising with the stores sales team, so to have held more that one Managerial position is preferably, coming from within selling and we definitely seek a high level of human resource proficiency. You and your team will care of our customers both in store and on the telephone, so a clear communication style and energy is a must.
The hourly rate is £14.50 per hour (plus bonus if the store hits KPIs which equates to approximately £6k extra per annum) and we expect this position to be for around 6 months. You will accrue holiday in line with our permanent members of staff which is 24 days. You need to be fully flexible general trading hours are from 10am to 10pm Mon Sat and 12pm 6pm on Sundays. You will be contracted to work 40 hours per week working any 5 out of the 7 days the store is open.
