Our client based in Newcastle is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join their busy Purchasing department based at their site in Newcastle.

Job Description:

  • To order supplies and equipment based on the companies needs
  • Tracking deliveries and updating order records
  • Ensuring the company maintains a fully stocked inventory

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needs
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Updating database with order details and maintaining details
  • Identifying pricing trends
  • Negotiating the best prices from vendors
  • Liaising with warehouse staff to ensure all products have arrived in good condition

The right candidate will have experience working within a similar role and have a good understanding of supply chain procedures.

The rate of pay is £10.26 per hour and you will work Monday Friday 37.5 hours.
