NXTGEN have a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Clerk to join an award winning Accounts Firm in the Norwich area. The successful candidate will work within a closeknit team helping process clients payroll, ranging from owner managed businesses to larger, more established firms. As the Payroll Clerk you will have run end to end payroll and be confident managing weekly, monthly and biweekly payrolls.

  • Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Process full payroll for clients, ensuring that all data is accurately input and maintained within the system
  • Process all tax and NI deductions
  • Process P11Ds / P45 / P60 where required
  • Processing and calculating employee expenses including: holiday, sick, maternity, overtime and pension contributions
  • Build professional relationships with clients and their staff
  • Required Skills:

  • Experience working within a practice or bureau environment
  • Experience using SAGE and/or STAR payroll system
  • Up to date technical knowledge on payroll legislation
