Offers Manager Permanent Salary DOE Oxfordshire Our client is a global leader in the design and manufacture of worldclass aircraft. An opportunity has arisen to join the Commercial Sales & Marketing team and we are looking to recruit an experienced Offers Manager ideally from within the Aerospace and Aviation sector. Reporting into the Head of Programmes the Offers Manager willwork handinhand with the front office team (Sales Manager and Requirements Capture / Delivery Manager), to ensure the timely delivery of offers. Ensuring that the Offer business case is consistent, exhaustive and validated internally To lead offers generation, including all company functions where necessary To lead financial review meetings for offers with board Members (MD, Finance Director, Civil Business Director) The role is very much a customer facing role getting fully involved in producing internal and external documentation in order to satisfy the requirements of our customers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Managing and coordinating the offer process by involving the required people to pass defined quality gates. - Building and delivering the commercial offer data package collection (technical and costing data) on time and on quality - Work in collaboration with designers to define systems architecture - Attend any meetings with customer as requested by the Sales Manager & Requirements Capture / Delivery Managerand subsequently produce any amendments to the proposal. - Meet with subcontractors to gain understanding of new equipment that could be fitted by our client - Attendance at exhibitions, air shows, corporate events and conferences as required - Maintain a database of all customer proposals, progress, and sales. - Maintain detailed knowledge of the companys capabilities and where possible those of our competitors. - Lead product policy definition within the company in the frame of product catalogue definition - Update the company product catalogue and liaise with the group on product policy. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE - Degree qualified or equivalent - Avionics background beneficial - Sound commercial knowledge - Civil sales knowledge in Aviation - Good aircraft technical knowledge - Familiar with 3D software SKILLS - Minimum of 3 years relevant experience - Minimum of 1 years experience in direct customer contact - Good technical knowledge and ability to understand new technical aids for helicopters. - Good understanding of company procedures. - Sales or contracting experience PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES - Good inter personnel skills - Energetic and enthusiastic - Committed This company is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
