Permanent (Part time)
This is a part time role for 20 hours per week in Bicester you must be able to travel with the disabled person for planned events (Some unsociable hours may be required with this role)

About the Role
In this role you will provide physical, face to face and remote support to our DPO Engagement Manager, assisting with their day-to-day work activities including typing and editing, note taking, finalising documents and typing dictated correspondence.
You will support meetings – both face to face and virtual, through transporting and setting up equipment and meeting rooms and through writing on flipcharts and organising the input of content. When the session is virtual, you will provide keystroke support and screen share materials.
With face-to-face external events, you will escort and assist the DPO Engagement Manager, including with physical support during transit – wheelchair handling, carrying luggage and equipment and assisting with mobility aids. There may be occasional overseas travel where similar support is required.
With strong admin and IT skills, you will have good attention to detail, and experience in personal organisation, following procedures and using your initiative.
You will be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, be willing to travel and stay away overnight (an infrequent requirement) and be confident in dealing with a wide range of people. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
You will have empathy with the values and ethos of Leonard Cheshire.
25 days annual leave, increasing to 30 - based on length of service - plus bank holidays (pro rata for part time) and the option to buy more leave.
