Foundation Phase Teaching Assistant Job in Caerphilly - Full-Time
Your New School:
I am currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant on behalf of a Green-Rated Primary School around Blackwood, Caerphilly. This school is represented by pupils aged 3-11 and staff that are able to encourage and inspire the pupils. This Primary setting promotes respect and diversity and tries to ensure that pupils are always enjoying their education. This school focuses on the growth and development of all pupils, as demonstrated by its ESTYN Rating.
Your New Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 support to a Foundation Phase pupil with Behavioural Needs. You will support the pupil both inside and outside the classroom, ensuring that they are focused and motivated to learn, as well as supported throughout their social activities. This Teaching Assistant role will be on a Full-Time basis and will start from September.
What you'll need to succeed:
- You must have previous experience of working alongside children in the past 2 years.
- It is a requirement that that you can motivate and inspire the pupil.
- It is essential that you have a calm yet firm approach and can persevere.
- Furthermore, you will need to be registered with the EWC or be prepared to do so.
