This is a temporary opportunity with a financial services organisation based in The City. It’s expected to run at least until the end of the year and potentially beyond and also could move to a permanent position. This role touches everything that supports the day to day facilities support for the organisation including:

* Setting up meeting and conference rooms, including Audio / AV equipment

* Post and couriers

* Covering reception and switchboard (lunch break, holiday cover etc.)

* Ensuring Health and Safety standards are met

* Making sure all office equipment is operational, fully stocked etc.

* Dealing with queries that come in via the Help Desk

This role works closely with the Facilities manager and a team of three and this team are very much the face of the organisation; they’re keen for someone who’s naturally courteous, organised and presents professionally.

The ideal person will have worked in a facilities capacity previously and has some H&S skills, perhaps IOSH. You will need to be completely IT savvy and comfortable with MS Office. Please note this job will involve manual handling.

This position will ideally start on Monday 13 September and there will be a two week handover so you can sure you’ll receive the support and training required to do a great job. It offers an hourly rate of £ plus holiday pay.
