Family Liaison Officer - Term Time
Maidstone, Kent, England
Permanent (Part time)
Pay: £15,037 to £16,177 pro rata
Start Date: October 2021
Permanent, term time plus 5 staff
training days, 33 hours per week.
We are looking to appoint a Family
Liaison Officer who will work alongside children and their families to
facilitate early intervention and preventative activities. The successful
candidate will provide support to our families and assist the SENCO in
organising and leading provisions that will tackle underachievement. The Family
Liaison Officer will work as part of the inclusion and DSL team to ensure
vulnerable children have full access to educational opportunities.
Previous experience of working in
a role linked to safeguarding children or managing programmes that are designed
to improve children’s social and emotional wellbeing would be useful but is not
essential as full training will be given.
Above all, we are looking to
appoint a hardworking, committed and reliable individual who will show care and
empathy towards our families.

Maidstone is currently a 2 form entry school with three classes in both Year 2
and 3. It became part of the Swale Academies Trust on 1st February 2015.
