We have a role at school working with adolescent mental health and students with additional learning needs.

The role is based in a school in Northenden, Manchester M22 postcode close to Sharston/Wythenshawe.

Start date- ASAP

Hours- - Mon-Fri

The main aim of the role is to build relationships with pupils who are struggling to attend school and have barriers to learning, your role will be to help build relationships and help breakdown the curriculum with students. The role is supporting students who have been identified as high need individuals who need additional support with behaviour, learning and their mental health. You will be required to support the individual with their needs from a learning basis and from a pastoral point of view.

A bit about the school:

The School deals with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) from KS23/KS4 all students have a statement for SEN needs due to behaviour or their additional learning needs.

The role is to start in September 2021.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
