Adventure Travel Customer Service Manager - A very exciting new opportunity has arisen in the Bristol area, working for a specialist adventure tour operator managing the Customer Service team! In this fantastic new role you would recruit, manage, train and support a team of customer service executives. Using your travel industry experience and knowledge you will enable your team to deliver a second to none personalised service to all clients from the point of booking until their return, ensuring customers enjoy every single second of their holiday!

Day to day management and support of your customer service team will be required to ensure they are working at the top of their game, both efficiently and effectively. Working with the Head of Customer Experience you will strive for excellent service levels, efficient processes and ways of working, and champion the overall mission of driving repeat and word of mouth enquiries.

EXPERIENCE:

_ You will have at least 3 years of experience in a customer service role, within the travel industry and 1-2 years of team leader experience, enabling you to hit the ground running

_ You are a team player who is used to working in a smaller company. You will be hands on with the day job to actively support the CS team with daily tasks/duties.

_ You are empathetic, friendly and charismatic, with a calm demeanour enabling you to remain calm under pressure

_ You are a strong communicator who is able to lead and inspire a team, whilst being a good listener with well-developed writing skills

_ You will have a passion for adventure travel and off the beaten track holidays

THE PACKAGE:

There is a very competitive salary on offer which is dependent on experience plus company bonus, you will also have the flexibility of hybrid working, 3 days in the office and 2 day from home per week and the working hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm (some adhoc weekend work will be on a rota basis in high season).
