Working as a Production Operative at this non-food manufacturing company, you will be undertaking a range of production line and quality control duties including:

Working on a conveyor, undertaking visual inspection of products, removing damaged product, tidying stacks etc.
Quarter hourly quality control checks - checking and recording dimensions of finished product are within tolerance and monitoring general build quality
Manually feeding waste product into a large shredder
Monitoring bailer machine
Other duties as may also occasionally be required to drive a Counter Balance fork lift truck, if a suiatable licence is held.

As a Production Operative you will be required to work a regular night shift, 22:00 - 06:00 Monday to Friday.

Applicants should ideally have previous experience of working as a production operative in a similar manufacturing environment. A current Counter Balance fork licence would be ideal but is not essential.

This is a full-time temporary vacancy that may lead to permanent employment
