SENDhelp are currently recruiting for a dedicated and passionate SEN TA to join work closely with our partner school full time from September.
This special needs school based in the Lewisham area, is a primary school that caters for children between the ages of 3-11. Offering a personalised curriculum tailored to the needs of the individual, our partner school is able to provide a more holistic educational experience for that child.
Committed to installing a desire for education and lifelong learning, you new school prioritises working closely in partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams in order to fully enable pupils to achieve their full potential.
We are offering an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and committed SEN TA to work closely with and play an active role in supporting our learners' educational development. The successful applicant will join a welcoming and supporting team, who are not just committed in providing care to every child, but they also have a range of expertise and knowledge in the field of special education and can support you in your professional development.
Not only will you be working closely with a growing team of SEND teachers and teaching assistants, but you will also have access to a range of facilities and services to increase your competence and allow you to better care for special needs children and perform as an exceptional SEN TA.
In order to excel within your new role, you would:
Have previous experience working with SEND pupils.
Be both passionate and excited to work with pupils with varied learning disabilities and special needs.
Proactively engage with and implement classroom activities, allowing you to fully connect with both pupils and staff members.
Have an understanding of the different types of leaning difficulties found within this school ., ASD, SLD, MLD, PMLDThrough joining SENDhelp you will be given the opportunity to learn and grow via our exclusive safeguarding training programmes, dedicated to increase competence and confidence when it comes to working with children. We will also ensure that you have constant contact with a dedicated consultant, who would work closely with you and answer any queries you may have.
