Marketing insight Analyst Andover

Job Purpose

Custodian of market insight and sales data. Maintaining, interpreting and reporting on market insight and sales data for all customerfacing business functions.

Data Analysis

Creation of monthly retail and OOH insight reports Management of all data coding files, ensuring cleanread data is maintained Competitor monitoring of new product launches, promotions and price changes Evaluation of data and insight suppliers for best return on investment Using IRI to create & maintain weekly & monthly EPOS sales report tracking category performance Track and report on frequency, penetration & usage data to use to give weight to recommendations Analyse promotional mechanic success through evaluating uplifts and cash margin generated Proactively monitor internal sales data to support the Commercial Team on sales and margin trends or issues Using trend, exfactory and EPOS data, make strategic recommendations for business growth Support Category Managers with data and insight as required for customers

Technical Skills & Qualifications Minimum

Minimum of 3 years experience in data insight roles within food, beverage, ingredients or FMCG companies

Keep up to date with competitor information and market trends Accept and tackle demanding goals with enthusiasm Plan activities and projects well in advance and take account of possible changing circumstances Focus on customer needs and satisfaction Monitor performance against deadlines and milestones Set high standards for quality Monitor and maintain quality and productivity Consistently achieve project goals Strong commercial thinking and financial awareness
