One of the UK’s leading Main Contractors who are self delivering various large scale schemes are searching for a Development Manager to help them build huge residential and mixed use schemes across the South East.
The Development Manager must have experience of the full life cycle of a project from acquisition, appraisal, design and delivery through to after care and sales. Proven experience of managing JV’s with Registered Providers would be beneficial too as they partner with a number of local authorities to deliver much needed homes and places to live and work.
The Development Manager will support the Development Director to implement the regional place-making strategy through the leadership, management and coordination of the team’s land, partnership, and development projects. The role will lead all stages of the project lifecycle including feasibility, formulation, design, planning, identification of partners, determination of funding solutions, a and delivery monitoring to ensure that opportunities are fully tested and optimised for the delivery of key regeneration outcomes and partnership objectives.
Development Manager requirements
Experience of delivering complex development projects at various stages including;
Land acquisition and opportunity identification
Structuring and partnership
Master planning and planning
Preconstruction and project financing
Construction and delivery
Marketing for sales and letting Experience of working in different roles within the property and development sectors but with a strong focus on Project Management.
Degree educated in a relevant Real Estate degree such as Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Land Management Real Estate or similar.
MRICS, MCIOB, ARB or similar are desirable.
This position is split between the sites in London, the office in Hertfordshire and working from home. You will be supported by a strong development team and be expected to lead on all areas of development
