Mobile App Developer (iOS)
iOS App Developer opportunity to join a global leader in printing and coding technology. You will be given access to robust career development process and exciting opportunities.
After training and a tailored learning programme when you join, you will be a key member of a newly formed team tasked with adding mobile app development to the companies development capabilities. As mobile apps become an ever-increasing part of the company's product offering, you and the other members of the team will be instrumental in providing customers with cutting edge tools to get the best from their chosen product identification solution.
Your responsibilities as an iOS Mobile App Developer will include:
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, develop and deploy iOS applications
Working with your Android counterparts to ensure a unified experience across mobile platforms
Maintaining focus on app usability and customer experience
Reviewing code produced by other members of the development team
Producing tests (unit and UI), working closely with our test engineers
Keeping up to date with changes in mobile technology, iOS releases, new and existing third-party libraries and sharing this knowledge with the wider team
Maintaining and enhancing existing mobile apps including bug fixing and the improvement of app performanceYour experience/skills will include:
Design and implementation of iOS apps including user interfaces
Use of source control systems, GIT/TFS
Deployment of iOS apps including BETA test versions
Bluetooth communication with bespoke hardware devices - Classic, SPP, BLE, GATT
An understanding of serial data communication protocols
Automated testing of iOS apps
