Supply Chain Support Analyst
Are you great at Maths, savvy with computers and love a good spreadsheet? Then check out this opportunity! A large expanding company based in Oldham is looking for a temporary Supply Chain Support Analyst to join their team on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role is available immediately and is paying GBP21,977 (pro rata) and is working within a dynamic supply chain and client team. Benefits include company pension scheme, 29 days holiday pro rata and fantastic retail and hospitality discounts as well as regular remote working being offered. The hours are 8:30am till 5pm and you will be required to work 1 day in the office and the remaining 4 days at home. This is a Monday to Friday role but some Bank Holiday work may be required and is allocated on a rota basis.
About The Role:
The successful candidate will develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support Supply Chain Analysts in their daily tasks to ensure efficient flow of goods throughout the network, managing constraints efficiently and collaboratively. This will include:
Successfully delivery of customer promotions and menu change activity
Tracking and reporting on Key Performance Indicators, including availability, inventory, promotions and events management
Balancing inbound priorities with depot capacity, prioritising purchase orders to support inventory control and availability metrics
Pro-actively engaging with suppliers to ensure booking slots are secured and deliveries arrive as required
Ensuring customer needs are met through delivery of agreed targets
Pro-actively engaging with National Account Managers to ensure appropriate decisions/actions are taken regarding customer inventory
Essential Skills & Experience:
Excellent communication and mathematical skills
Able to commit to at least 6 months
Able to work remotely
The ability to effectively prioritise and organise your own work and do so under pressure
PC skills, especially Microsoft Excel, are advantageous
Previous stock analyst and inventory control experience would be beneficial
