Secondary RE Teacher l Cheshire

Celsian Education are working with a large secondary school in the Cheshire area who are looking for a positive RE Teacher. The role is to start in September on a long term placement and so interviews will take place as soon as possible.

Are you passionate about Religious Education and can you use your knowledge of a variety of religions and cultures to engage and educate groups of students?

This RE Teacher role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons in Religious Education to classes across key stage 3 and key stage 4. You will work with the young people to help raise attainment in the subject and achieve success in their exams. This Ofsted graded good secondary school has excellent facilities and the staff are committed to the inclusion of all young people and pride themselves on their methods to enhance the learning and wellbeing for all children; making this the ideal opportunity for an NQT or more experienced teacher.

To be successful in this RE Teacher role you will have:

  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Excellent subject knowledge specialising in RE
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Experience teaching RE across KS3 and KS4
