Outreach Support Worker - Primary/Secondary SEN
£60 - £85/day
Contract (Full time)
GSL Education are delighted to be working alongside a fantastic SEN setting in Sunderland to provide Outreach support to both Primary and Secondary aged learners on a full-time basis. Your role will be working closely with a designated learner and give them the support they need to be able to learn and flourish in this unique setting. Due to the needs for these learners, you will often be working within a neutral venue as your learner may not be able to come and access their education directly at school.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday 8:30-3:30.
Having access to your own car will be required for this role and you must be prepared to get business insurance in addition.
You will be required to have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service to be able to work with our clients (This will be discussed during the registration process)
The Ideal candidate must:
Have experience working with school aged or adult learners with additional needs
Be able to commit to 5 days a week work
Have a Child or Child and Adult DBS on the update service.
Are confident, outgoing, and personable individual with a passion for helping people.
Have access to your own car
