An outstanding primary school with a provision for pupils with autism and complex learning needs such as mild hearing or visual impairment, global delay, emotional difficulties in Waltham Forest. Initially with 20 pupils but growing to a maximum of 45 pupils aged 516 are now looking for a Nurture Teacher to join them. The school are willing to provide training to staff before handing them a classroom of their own. This is an exciting opportunity for a Mainstream trained teacher or a Special Needs Teacher to join an outstanding and a leader school of education.
The school are looking for a Teacher who is compassionate, keen and caring individual to join the team to support 7 pupils with a learning difficulty. Your day as a Teacher will depend entirely on how you support the children and work with a lovely team of support staff. There really are no limits to the interests, passions, hobbies and activities that the students we support enjoy. You will be working through
The Teacher would:
Work with pupils who have autism and complex learning difficulties
Helping all students enjoy their learning and get as much out of life as they can Identify challenges and ensure that the pupils learn Support pupils with communication skills Help pupils develop their communication and life skills
Be part of a growing school
The Teacher we require should have: Experience working within primary aged pupils or have knowledge of primary curriculum Experience in using behaviour techniques within a classroom Knowledge of teaching ranges primary and secondary Must be Caring, Adaptable and highly intuitive

To join us and be successful in this Special Needs Teacher role you will need to:
Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
